2x Handmade Bookcase

These bookcases (originally 1 large one) was handmade by a Dutch experienced old school carpenter. To fit into our cottage in the UK, we've separated the two bookcases and removed the top layer shelves. We haven't painted or'refined' the sides + top yet. The base material is MDF, the crown moulding is made of oak wood, and the inside of the cupboards is made from hardwood. It is painted in 3 layers of base painting and two layers of Sigma lacquer - very high quality paint. The shelves of the bookcase are all finished with flexible kit as a finish. It consists of two parts per side -- the lower cupboards with storage room can easily be detached from the top shelves. The middle top shelves that connect the left and right part of the bookcase can also be removed easily. The crown molding is encapsulated in the top part of the bookcase, and can be unscrewed and taken apart. Therefore, it is very easy to take apart and transport. 235 cm high (lower half height = 77cm). 33.7 cm shelf height. 44.8 cm shelf width. 29.5 cm shelf depth. 42 cm lowest shelf height.
