Fabricated from scaffolding tubes and a scaffold board salvaged from a building site, these rails give a modern, urban look in any living or working space. The item listed here is a clothing rail that measures 120cm wide x 150cm height x 42cm overall depth. The scaffold board shelf has a depth of 22cm but as we make everything to order, the rail can be made to measure. We can also oil, stain or paint the wood to meet your desired look - please let us know when you order. The clothes rail comes in flat pack but partially assembled, you'll just have 4 components to put together with an Allen key that will be provided along with simple instructions.

The end strap is on one end of the shelf, normally on the right hand side. If you want it on a different end, don't want it at all or you're fussed about the colour, please get in touch. Please note that some end straps have no colouring at all, as the wood is rescued, it's all random. Not a single one of our products is just off the shelf, everything is made to order.

This means that if you want a different size for example, that's never an issue. We are more than happy to accommodate small changes, totally free of charge (if it's just a centimetre or two). Bigger changes might have a cost implication but we can assure you, it won't be a lot!

Everything we make is made by hand in Essex, mainly using scaffold boards that have been rescued off building sites around the area. Due to this, no two pieces of furniture from Industrial Furniture Uk will ever be identical. All the boards have different scuffs, markings and are all aged differently.

The wood will always be sanded smooth but might have some rough areas, we think this just adds to the industrial, rustic feel though! We cannot ever guarantee that the wood will be splinter free. Please be sensible, although the nature of these make them very sturdy, they still can fall or be pulled over. For maximum stability, this style rail can easily be fixed to the floor.
